If you like pale neutrals and aren’t sure how to wear them now that fall is in full swing, I’ve styled a look that incorporates ivory, light grey, and what I refer to as an oatmeal color. I think these three neutral tones really complement each other well, and the silver accessories add interest while a deep mocha colored bag adds a bit of contrast. I also wanted to play with textures to add layer of dimension since the look is monotone. Pairing a thicker cable knit with an airy blouse is also a great way to layer without feeling too weighed down.
I apologize in advance as there will be a lack of posts over the next few days. I will be traveling and won’t be able to blog, but I’ll be back with new outfit posts next week :) Thank you so much for stopping by!
Back to pairing leopard with leather :) I think it’s safe to say this is my new favorite print, and this faux leather mini has paid for itself. While I was gravitating toward florals all summer, now it’s all about the leopard. Camel and black has also been a long-time favorite color combination of mine for the fall season. You can’t go wrong with these two colors – both are neutrals, so buying pieces in black or camel are going to be versatile and can be styled countless ways.
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend :) After a week of really beautiful and unexpected warm weather, we’re now back to temperatures more relative to this time of year. As long as the sun is still shining though, I’m happy. Today’s work wear inspiration incorporates one of my new favorite color combinations: cranberry and camel. I love the deep berry shade paired with a warm neutral perfect for this season. Leather and suede are great textures to begin introducing into your work wardrobe this season: particularly in shades of warm brown and cognac. This pencil skirt and these suede heels are great staples which can be paired with so many other looks. A statement necklace breaks up the solidity, and complements the v-neck style of this sweater.
I hope you all have a wonderful week! Thank you for stopping by :)
