I hope you’re all having a great week :) Today’s look is a simple, monochrome look with metallic accents. There are so few months in New York that we can get away with wearing an all-white ensemble, and I think there’s something very chic about a single tone look. Wearing one color also allows you to have fun with accessories! While it would have been cute to add a pop of color with a handbag, I decided to wear my everyday A&R bag to blend with the look, and let my heels and sunnies take the stage. Although I added a statement necklace and ring, the classic white pearls and pale sage green remained subtle against the white palette.
Today I’m sharing with you my favorite maxi dress this summer! Although it’s not brightly colored, it’s so easy to dress up with pops of color. The fabric is the perfect weight — not sheer but also not too heavy, and falls beautifully! You can easily wear this dress with simple sandals, delicate jewelry, and a sun hat for a more relaxed, daytime look; or, add a pair of embellished sandals or heeled sandals, and bold jewelry for a nighttime look. Versatile pieces are key for any season!
Happy Monday everyone :) Seeing as though a lot of us tend to stop buying summer clothes this time of year to save up for some new fall pieces, I wanted to style a look that could be worn now as well as a couple of months from now. A black top with a delicate sleeve, a structured black bag, and a feminine black heel are staples for your work wardrobe that can be worn all year long. I added the pops of red to keep things bright and wearable for right now. However, a red nail and a sheer red lip color can also be worn during any season as they’re classic beauty staples. I added a simple statement cuff and a delicate necklace to finish off the look.
I hope you all had a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by!
Happy Wednesday! Today’s look is a versatile style for the summer. A simple crop top and a flowy midi skirt can be worn for multiple occasions: a lunch date, a picnic, an outdoor party or barbecue, or even for running errands on the weekends. If you want to switch up your casual wear for something a bit more fun and feminine, this skirt is a great piece to have in your wardrobe. You’ll find it in more colors here, as well! To finish the look, I added these beautiful embellished sandals; I like how they dress up the look but are comfortable enough to walk around in all day :)
