Happy Thursday!  Still wearing my typical black and white ensemble while introducing pops of color.  In my last post I added a mint coat, so I’m continuing baby steps towards introducing some color into my monochrome looks now that Spring is here (well, according to the calendar.  And ink blue counts as color, right??).  Now, if we could just get some consistently warm weather here I would be so greatful!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

{Black & White Prints + Mint}

New York has finally seen some sun and has thankfully managed to escape the bitter cold temperatures!  I was in Phoenix all of last week for work and the perfectly warm, sunny weather there had me anxious about my return to the northeast.  I was pleasantly surprised to read the forecast for the week of my arrival — 40 degrees?!  I’ll take it!  After a miserable winter, 40 degrees honestly feels like Spring weather.  I wore flats to work the past couple days which was pretty exciting since, for the last few months, I wouldn’t dare allow even an inch of skin to be exposed for fear of getting frost bite.  So, to celebrate this week of warmer weather, I pulled out my much-loved mint green coat for a pop of pastel color.  I’ve had it for a couple of years and it’s definitely become my go-to for the Spring season!

Thanks so much for stopping by :)

{Re-Stocking Soon} Mansur Gavriel

{Restocking Soon} Mansur Gavriel Bucket Bag | Plum Pearls

For those of you still hoping to get your hands on the wildly sought after Mansur Gavriel bucket bag, here’s a friendly reminder that they’ll be re-stocking soon!  Click here to browse all the styles.

P.S. I hope to get back into blogging outfit posts soon.  I’m sincerely sorry for the lack of posts over the past couple weeks.  I live in NY and, with the wind chill, it’s been in the negatives consistently.  I am just not cut out for this weather!  I’ve been piling on the layers and wouldn’t brave walking outside without my coat, boots, hat and scarf.  There wouldn’t be much variety in my posts!

I hope you’re staying warm wherever you are :)  Have a great weekend everyone!

Layers are key here lately, with the never-ending snow and frigid temps.  I’ve been layering with my fur vest or this down vest almost every day.  I usually have some form of sweater or cardigan underneath, and then it’s dress pants or jeans for me.  I think I’ve forgotten what it’s like to wear a skirt or a dress…or dress heels (the loves of my life).  Although I miss being able to get dressed up, I’m all for comfort these days. Plus, I’ve managed to make it this far through the winter season without getting sick!!! (knock on wood)

I hope you all had a great weekend!  Thanks for stopping by :)
